The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
Satan is trying to steal from you what Jesus has already given you
Robber – a person who takes or attempts to take anything of value by force
Thief - a person who steals secretly, by trickery or deceit
Steal – to take without permission; covert; sly
Jesus uses the word "thief" to let you know that the devil is very cunning in the way he steals from you.
The devil is a kleptomaniac, (persistent impulse to steal)
“According to the Federal Trade Commission, people in the US reported losing more than $10 billion to scams in 2023. That's over a billion dollars more than the year before.”
To give you some perspective, according to the most recent valuations from Forbes, the Dallas Cowboys are the most valuable NFL franchise at $9 billion.
Raise your hand if you’re under 60—the most targeted group for scams.
According to a 2022 report from the National Cybersecurity Alliance, Gen Z, people who don't even remember a time without the internet, report higher rates of being taken in by everything, from identity theft to phishing and romance scams, more so than baby boomers do.
Younger generations fall prey to this kind of thing at higher rates than their elders.
Everyone who falls victim to a scam often believes, "It won't happen to me."
What emotions do you experience after falling victim to a scam?
Embarrassed, angry, disappointed, foolish, hesitant, uncertain, unsure
What typically happens is you were:
Too eager, too trusting, too foolish, feel too invincible
What should you learn?
Use wisdom when it comes to money dealings with people you haven't met in person.
Facebook is a common platform where people frequently encounter scams.
My advice: Avoid purchasing anything on Facebook and never send money to strangers.
My advice: Never use Zelle or Apple Pay to send money to people you do not know.
Proverbs 6:30-31 TPT
You can almost excuse a thief if he steals to feed his own family. But if he’s caught, he still has to pay back what he stole sevenfold; his punishment and fine will cost him greatly.
Satan is a thief and we caught him.
Whatever’s been stolen, scammed, or cheated from you, God wants to RESTORE to you this year!
For there to be restoration, there must have been a theft
God promises you a return on everything you give, and He promises a return on everything stolen from you. You cannot lose.
You will come out better, improved, increased, and multiplied.

Not only did the king grant her appeal for her land, but he also restored all the profits of her land during the seven years of famine that she was away.
This woman did not just get back what she lost, she received more than she deserved
The Lord will bring restoration in the areas of your life where you have experienced loss.
When God restores and repairs, it is always better in quality or quantity!
God can turn things around and restore you!
When God restores, you don’t return to your original state.
