Amos 9:13 MSG
“Yes indeed, it won’t be long now.” God’s Decree. “Things are going to happen so fast your head will swim, one thing fast on the heels of the other. You won’t be able to keep up. Everything will be happening at once—and everywhere you look, blessings! Blessings like wine pouring off the mountains and hills.”
What is Acceleration?
To move faster; to speed up; to gain speed; to increase in speed
To bring about something at a time earlier than usual.
To hasten the progress of development.
To enable someone to complete a course in less than the normal time.
To arrive at a destination faster than anticipated.
DR. JERRY SAVELLE WORD
“‘These are days of acceleration,’ says the Lord. ‘Days in which I will cause those who demonstrate an uncompromising stand on my word and an unwavering faith in my promises to experience in one year what used to take ten years, and in 2 years what previously took 20 years.
‘Im in a hurry,’ saith the Lord, ‘to get things done and to fulfill all that I have declared and you are the generation that will see it come to pass.
Settle it in your heart, once and for all that giving up, giving in and turning back are no longer a part of your lifestyle and I assure you that your future will be filled with good things and your victories will be many.’”
Isaiah 48:3
I have declared the former things from the beginning; They went forth from My mouth, and I caused them to hear it. Suddenly I did them, and they came to pass.
Suddenly - without warning
Immediately - instantly and without delay
I declare, “More and more suddenlies and immediatelies are coming your way.”
Why are we not seeing more “suddenlies” and “immediatelies?”
Because we aren’t expecting them.
If you’re not careful you can come to the place where you’re not really expecting the word to come to pass.
The ministry of Jesus in particular is one suddenly and immediately after another.
John 6:21
Then they willingly received Him into the boat, and immediately the boat was at the land where they were going.
Matthew 21:19-20
And seeing a fig tree by the road, He came to it and found nothing on it but leaves, and said to it, “Let no fruit grow on you ever again.” Immediately the fig tree withered away. And when the disciples saw it, they marveled, saying, “How did the fig tree wither away so soon?”
Mark 5:27-30
A woman who had been sick for 12 years
When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment. For she said, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.” Immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of the affliction. And Jesus, immediately knowing in Himself that power had gone out of Him, turned around in the crowd and said, “Who touched My clothes?”
Mark 10:52
The Blind man
Then Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the road.
Luke 4:39
Peter’s mother-in-law was sick with a high fever
So He stood over her and rebuked the fever, and it left her. And immediately she arose and served them.

Acts 3:6-7
The lame man at the temple
Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.” And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.
Acts 9:34
And Peter said to him, “Aeneas, Jesus the Christ heals you. Arise and make your bed.” Then he arose immediately.”
Acts 9:17-18
And Ananias went his way and entered the house; and laying his hands on him he said, “Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you came, has sent me that you may receive your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.” Immediately there fell from his eyes something like scales, and he received his sight at once; and he arose and was baptized.
Acts 16:25-26
But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed.
CHANGE YOUR EXPECTATION
Wake up saying, “Today is my day”
Quit thinking “maybe someday” and start saying “Any day now!”
“When are you going to meet your spouse?” ANY DAY NOW!
“When are you going to get that promotion?” ANY DAY NOW!
“When are you going to feel better?” ANY DAY NOW!
“When is your entire family going to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior?” ANY DAY NOW!
When is your spouse going to come to church? ANY DAY NOW!
When are your children going to act right? ANY DAY NOW!
When are you going to pay off all your debts?” ANY DAY NOW!
“When is Jesus coming back?” ANY DAY NOW!
Expectation is the breeding ground for miracles.
Luke 4:19 NLT
…the time of the Lord’s favor has come.
