Acts 3:1-11

  • 40 year old man (Acts 4:22)

  • Always has been lame (since mother’s womb)

  • Maybe you can relate; have always been limited. (finances, health, etc)

  • Can’t move; stuck

  • Can’t imagine or dream 

  • His perception has always been low due to his scenery

  • Laid daily at the gate means he was consistent. 

  • He kept coming...

  • But “He expected to receive”

Your mind creates a narrative that paints a picture that you will always be where you are now. There is nothing further from the truth...

Expect- to look forward to; regard as likely to happen; anticipate the occurrence or the coming of

  • Expectation is like a magnet that draws possibilities

  • Expectation is the breeding ground for miracles
