Notes

Hebrews 11:6

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Hebrews 10:35-36

Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise:

  • “What’s taking so long?”

  • ”Has God forgotten about me?”

  • “Things should have worked out by now.”

  • “I should be further along.”

  • What happens when you get tired of waiting…?

  • One of the least favorite words for your flesh is wait

  • You need patience

  • Patience comes before manifestation — not the other way around.

  • Patience - cheerful endurance; the ability to continue or last despite fatigue, stress, or other adverse conditions

  • Promise – an announcement that something will be done or given

  • It's tough to continue when the fulfillment of His promise seems so far away. This is why you need patience.

  • If everything happened instantly, you wouldn't need patience

  • How you wait on the promise matters to God.

Hebrews 6:10-15

  • Patience is the key to receiving everything that you believe for

  • A lack of patience is one of the greatest causes of defeat

  • You don't get patience by praying for it

  • Patience only comes by the testing of your faith

  • You only have as much confidence as you have patience

  • Patience continues to believe

  • No such thing as having too much patience

  • Patience is learning to live on God's clock

  • Patience is essential for the next level.

  • Patience prepares you for the next season.
