Awake - wake up, become aware, get excited, to know something
Righteousness - the condition acceptable to God; right standing with God
Because of your faith in Christ, you are no longer a sinner but are made right in the sight of God

When you start a new job, they usually give you a computer. However, it’s not yours, so you can’t use it however you want. Likewise, your body isn’t yours to do whatever you want with.

There is tension between the sinful nature and the Spirit within you
Not inherit the kingdom of God - certain behaviors and lifestyles are incompatible with being part of God’s kingdom
Walking by the Spirit is how you can overcome the desires of the flesh.
Rely on the Holy Spirit rather than their own strength to live a life that pleases God.
